The conditions to access SHADOW REBELLION change based on the Phase it is in:
* Phase 1:
** NORMAL difficulty: Obtain at least an A rank on three songs that total 18 or more in difficulty by clearing them.
** HYPER difficulty: Obtain at least a AA rank on three songs that total 27 or more in difficulty by clearing them.
** ANOTHER difficulty: Obtain at least a AAA rank on three songs that total 33 or more in difficulty by clearing them.


By playing songs under the SHADOW REBELLION folder for the EXTRA STAGE, more Shadow Gems can be earned, which are used to unlock charts for play outside the EXTRA STAGE as well as for additional bonuses.
