** ''BATTLE SEQUENCE SYSTEM'' mode was introduced on August 13th, 2015. You choose your NEMSYS crew character and at the end of a credit you fight an enemy; this special unlock system occurs in several MISSIONs' story chapters, and overall, heavily relies on NEMSYS characters obtained through PUR-rarity cards.

* On December 4th, 2015, the game entered its 2ND SEASON, adding/changing the following features:

The following songs were added on January 21st, 2015 to celebrate the launch of [[SOUND HOLIC]]'s first BEMANI album, [[ZAN|斬 -ZAN-]].

INDEPENDENT SKY (and its GRAVITY chart) has to be unlocked via the ''prologue 闘いの空へ。'' MISSION that started the same day, while TIEFSEE can be unlocked with BLOCKS.

In the [[POLICY BREAK]] event, a song representative of each BEMANI game is crossed over to SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS. The POLICY BREAK event requires the player to play eight rounds of the specified BEMANI game in order to unlock the BEMANI crossover in SOUND VOLTEX. Each event contains one song and lasts generally two or three weeks; after the determined time period, the crossover cannot be unlocked anymore. Past POLICY BREAK events may be temporarily revived.

The [[Kaitou BisCo no yokokujou!!]] (怪盗BisCoの予告状!!) event started on June 17th, 2015 and ended on December 21st, 2015.

The [[BEMANI SUMMER DIARY 2015]] event started on July 23rd, 2015, and ended on October 26th, 2015.

The [[Tenkaichi otogesai Zenkoku issei nintei taikai]] 2015 event is the second collaboration tournament between KONAMI, BANDAI NAMCO, SEGA and TAITO. This time, SOUND VOLTEX is the KONAMI's representative game instead of [[jubeat Information|jubeat]] and BANDAI NAMCO's new game, ''Synchronica'', participates in the new event. Unlike the previous tournament, there weren't any crossovers.

New songs for all five games appeared on October 15th, 2015 and November 26th, 2015. Like the previous edition of the event, machines in AOU member arcades received the songs first. The two new songs were added worldwide on March 10th, 2016.

The [[Tenkaichi otogesai Zenkoku issei nintei taikai]] 2016 event is the third collaboration tournament between KONAMI, BANDAI NAMCO, SEGA and TAITO. Unlike last year, BANDAI NAMCO's ''Synchronica'' does not participate this time in the event. Like the previous editions of the event, machines in AOU member arcades will receive the songs first.

The new songs will be added to all other machines in March 2017, sometime after JAEPO 2017.

The [[Smith no kimagure gentle]] (スミスのきまぐれジェントル) event started on December 28th, 2015.

This event ended on January 19th, 2017, in [[AC SDVX IV|SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN]].

[[Agetta moratta]] is a collaboration event between SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS and [[AC MSC 1+1/2|MÚSECA 1+1/2]], to celebrate the latter game's launch. To unlock the following songs, simply unlock the respective song's Red (朱) chart in MÚSECA 1+1/2.

[[NEW Generation natsu no ryuusei festa 2016]] is a special event involving [[AC copula|beatmania IIDX 23 copula]], [[AC jb Qubell|jubeat Qubell]], and SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS. It serves as an introduction of new commissioned artists in BEMANI games, throughout all new songs. Each game starts out with a default song, while the remaining songs need to be unlocked.

In SOUND VOLTEX, the event songs are unlocked by collecting stamps. A stamp can be obtained after one play session. After obtaining a certain amount of stamps, you unlock a song.
