** Note that to unlock ''any'' Hold Marker chart, you must reach Step 20 or higher.

* A new unlock mode, ''Step'', is added. It is similar to the Class unlock system of [[AC jb|jubeat]] and [[AC jb ripples|jubeat ripples]].

** The jubility rating has been replaced by Step levels.

** Returning songs that haven't been unlocked yet can be also unlocked on Step.

* Licensing credits are now shown at the end of a game session (after "Thank you for playing") if any licensed songs were played.

* COURSE MODE was removed at launch. It was re-implemented on September 1st, 2015. Along with all returning courses from [[AC jb saucer fulfill|jubeat saucer fulfill]], HIT CHART COURSEs (eight additional courses containing the game's most played songs) have also been added.

''Step'' is the first unlock system of jubeat prop, and works similarly to the Grade systems in [[AC jb|jubeat]] and [[AC jb ripples|jubeat ripples]]. Step levels also replace the ''jubility'' rating system.

ARENA MODE was added on September 7th, 2015. This mode works as a class ranking system, similar to [[AC SIRIUS|beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS]]' LEAGUE MODE.

Classes range from Amateur (the lowest) to Legend (the highest), which are then split into five sub-classes in each (except for Legend).

From March 7th, 2016 to March 13th, 2016, Too Late Snow [ 2 ] can be unlocked for playing in NORMAL MODE by playing Too Late Snow in ARENA MODE once. Too Late Snow [ 2 ] will then be unlocked on March 14th, 2016.

The [[BEMANI SUMMER DIARY 2015]] event started on July 23rd, 2015, and ended on October 26th, 2015.

The [[Smith no kimagure gentle]] (スミスのきまぐれジェントル) event started on December 28th, 2015.

The [[Hinatabi chikuwa-hime ketteisen]] (日向美ちくわ姫決定戦) event started on February 24th, 2016 in [[AC GD Tri-Boost|GITADORA Tri-Boost]], jubeat prop, [[AC MSC|MÚSECA]], [[AC pnm eclale|pop'n music éclale]], and [[AC RB VOLZZA|REFLEC BEAT VOLZZA]].

This event ended on December 1st, 2016, in [[AC jb Qubell|jubeat Qubell]]. Since then, the Music GET songs can be unlocked via jubeat Qubell's ''dig dig Qubell''.

To unlock the following songs, players must raise the Chikuwa Gauge (ちくわゲージ) playing [[HinaBitter|ひなビタ♪]] songs. Do note that each song has its own Chikuwa Gauge, and that the songs must be unlocked on each participant game (progress does not carry over to other games).

* Group songs will raise 1/8 of the Gauge for all five characters.

From February 24th to March 16th, 2016, players could vote for one of the 日向美ビタースイーツ♪ members in order to get her respective cover song from the Five Drops albums into each participant game. Players had to get a Membership Card by introducing a serial code given on the respective member's Five Drops album, or by filling the respective Chikuwa Gauge of the member on at least two games, and then collect chikuwa by playing 日向美ビタースイーツ♪ songs or by voting on the event website once per day.

The winner, Rin Shimotsuki, was announced on March 16th, 2016. Her cover song [[Kurokami midareshi shura to narite~Rin edition~|黒髪乱れし修羅となりて～凛edition～]] was added by default on April 18th, 2016 in jubeat Qubell.
