- OVERHEAT -Type GD- is one of the LIVE unlocks from GITADORA. It was added on March 28th, 2013 to promote the release of 96's first album, BLACK ALBUM.
- OVERHEAT -Type GD- was the only song from the songs added on March 28th, 2013 that wasn't present on the GITADORA Original Soundtrack 1st season album. Instead, it appeared on the GITADORA Original Soundtrack 2nd season album.
- The "GD" of OVERHEAT -Type GD-'s subtitle stands for "GITADORA".
- Due to a bug, OVERHEAT -Type GD- was automatically added to GITADORA CS's Collection Mode for every player on February 6th, 2014 (you still needed to buy a Music Key to unlock it, though). It was removed from Collection Mode on the next day (unless you unlocked it on the arcade games).
