BEMANI×TOHO project REITAISAI 2015

The BEMANI×TOHO project REITAISAI 2015 event is a cross-BEMANI event between beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL, BeatStream, DanceDanceRevolution (2014), GITADORA Tri-Boost, jubeat prop, pop'n music ラピストリア, REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! Upper, and SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS, to promote the upcoming release of the BEMANI×東方Project Ultimate MasterPieces album.

This event also marks the first time when every BEMANI game series besides BeatStream and SOUND VOLTEX receive Touhou Project remix songs (save for the DanceEvolution and ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom series, which are not involved in this event).

The BEMANI×TOHO project REITAISAI 2015 event started on April 30th, 2015.

Overview

The First Set, with eight songs from the BEMANI×東方Project Ultimate MasterPieces album, was added to the participant games on April 30th, 2015. While the BeatStream, jubeat, REFLEC BEAT and SOUND VOLTEX series obtained all 8 songs, the other BEMANI series obtained just some of them.

Note that some songs/charts have to be unlocked; only DanceDanceRevolution (2014) (before May 14th, 2015) and GITADORA Tri-Boost have everything automatically unlocked.

Unlocking Methods

beatmania IIDX

By playing beatmania IIDX once, 取り残された美術(Arranged:HiZuMi), Scarlet Moon and 妖隠し -あやかしかくし- will be available on your next credit.
千年ノ理 is available as an unlockable song on the TOHO REMIX EXPERT COURSE.

DanceDanceRevolution

妖隠し -あやかしかくし- is available in the EXTRA ATTACK folder on the EXTRA STAGE. Like Idola and all other songs after starmine, the SURVIVED BONUS meter has to be filled on BEGINNER, then BASIC, DIFFICULT, and then finally EXPERT.

BeatStream

Each song can be unlocked by playing five Touhou Project songs. The songs will be unlocked on the following order: プレインエイジア -PHQ remix-→ホメ猫☆センセーション→Russian Caravan Rhapsody→BEAT-NEW-WORLD-

jubeat

The locked songs are available as BONUS MUSICs on the following order: BEAT-NEW-WORLD→Russian Caravan Rhapsody→プレインエイジア -PHQ remix-→ホメ猫☆センセーション, and can be unlocked by playing them once.

pop'n music

To unlock Russian Caravan Rhapsody and the pop'n music character 霧雨魔理沙, play Struggle with an eAMUSEMENT PASS. Then, by playing Russian Caravan Rhapsody once, you will unlock its character, 博麗霊夢.

REFLEC BEAT

Play the four BEMANI×TOHO project REITAISAI 2015 default songs three times each to unlock BEAT-NEW-WORLD. Then, play any BEMANI×TOHO song using the BEAT-NEW-WORLD icon, which is acquired by playing BEAT-NEW-WORLD three times, to unlock Russian Caravan Rhapsody. And subsequently, every BEMANI×TOHO project REITAISAI 2015 song unlocked by this method, ホメ猫☆センセーション and プレインエイジア -PHQ remix-, in that order.

SOUND VOLTEX

While every song is available by default, EXHAUST charts have to be purchased from the SDVX Station. In addition, certain songs require to play other charts (clearing them is not required) in order to purchase their EXHAUST charts :

• BEAT-NEW-WORLD: play プレインエイジア -PHQ remix-'s EXHAUST chart.
• ホメ猫☆センセーション: play Struggle's and 取り残された美術(Arranged:HiZuMi)'s EXHAUST charts.
• NEON WORLD: play Russian Caravan Rhapsody's and Scarlet Moon's EXHAUST charts.

Trivia

• All of the BEMANI×TOHO project REITAISAI 2015 songs are counted as KONAMI originals.
