beatmania IIDX INFINITAS Original Mission List Information

Missions are a feature introduced in beatmania IIDX INFINITAS on April 12th, 2016. The main goal of missions are to obtain BITs, which can be used to unlock song charts.

Missions are divided into three categories: REWARD, REPEAT, and ACHIEVEMENT. REWARD missions can only be obtained once per song, while REPEAT, as the name implies, can be done repeatedly. REPEAT missions can be repeated after 22 hours have passed (it was originally 24 hours prior to May 18th, 2016). ACHIEVEMENT, meanwhile, comes from reaching certain thresholds as you play. On October 5th, 2016, the Missions tab was able to be called up directly with a long press of the options key/button (TAB on the keyboard).

Normally you only have one slot, called a frame, to complete missions in at a time. However, if you use INFINIAS tickets, you can add up to a maximum of two more frames for one ticket each, which will stay in effect for 24 hours. In addition, you can use INFINITAS tickets to get the following helpful bonuses for one ticket each, which were added on October 5th, 2016:

  • QUICK REPEAT: resets all REPEAT missions, allowing you to play them without waiting the usual 22 hours.
  • BIT BOOST: doubles BITs from REPEAT missions for an hour. (ACHIVEMENT and REWARD missions are not affected by this.)

NOTE: REWARD missions only apply to songs you have unlocked and played in standard Mode. Songs played in other modes (championship, CLASS, or RIVAL CHALLENGE) will not count.

NOTE 2: playing songs in championship/CLASS doesn't count as a clear.

REWARD

REWARD missions are rewarded by getting a CLEAR, HARD CLEAR, EX HARD CLEAR, or FULL COMBO on a song the first time you do so. The amount of BITS you get depends on what difficulty you're playing on. Note that playing songs on either SINGLE or DOUBLE counts for both sides. If you get at least a HARD CLEAR or more, any lower BITs are rewarded as well to you. For example, if you get a FULL COMBO on a song, you'll obtain the BITs for CLEAR, HARD CLEAR, and EX HARD CLEAR, in addition to FULL COMBO. Passing songs with ASSIST/EASY does not reward you BITs. BEGINNER charts also don't reward BITs.

  • The breakdown is as follows:
    • CLEAR: 100 BITs on NORMAL, 150 BITs on HYPER, 200 BITs on ANOTHER
    • HARD CLEAR: 150 BITs on NORMAL, 200 BITs on HYPER, 250 BITs on ANOTHER
    • EX HARD CLEAR: 200 BITs on NORMAL, 250 BITs on HYPER, 300 BITs on ANOTHER
    • FULL COMBO: 250 BITs on NORMAL, 250 BITs on HYPER, 300 BITs on ANOTHER

Prior to June 6th, 2016, REWARD missions had to be chosen by frame. Since then, they are rewarded to you automatically. This only applies for songs played on this update forward; previous accomplishments that weren't completed as missions will have to be repeated.
