The Caution Screen is shown in some BEMANI games to warn players about dangerous motions, or copyright. This screen is often seen in the DanceDanceRevolution and Dance Maniax series, but is also seen in other BEMANI games as well. Regional warning screen

The regional warning screen is the first screen to be shown before fading to the KONAMI logo. The screen informs that arcade cabinets are only sold in certain regions only and on rules of copyright.

Extreme play screen

The Extreme play, which is usually seen when beginning a session of arcade games, notably DanceDanceRevolution and Dance Maniax, warns players on the dangers of intense game playing and on spectator side. Variants of the screens were:

Lighting screen

Exclusive to console version games, this caution screen is shown to inform players playing the game on a brightly-lit environment, in addition to the normal gameplay. The brightly-lit environment screen warning is to reduce the risk of possible seizures via strobe lights, which came into light after the infamous seizure incident in 1997.
