"If we covered a TK song, which song do you think would be good?"
When NAOKI's asked me that, TM NETWORK's (previously TMN) "Ichizuna koi" immediately came to my mind.
The original song's sound resembled TЁЯRA's concept the most, and NAOKI excitedly decided "let's go with it!".
Although NAOKI deeply admired TK, I actually started composing because of TM NETWORK.
I somehow felt like I witnessed TЁЯRA's origin from this song. That was the concept, so I handled half the arrangement and also sang it! Although it's just the chorus part, NAOKI harmonized with the melody line!
He sounded just like a certain person (laughs)!
... And various tones are incorporated in this unique song, so how were the best parts?
But when I tried to listen to the final song, it still sounded very TЁЯRA-ish~.
I chose this song from TM NETWORK's many songs, since it's perhaps TЁЯRA-ish.
NAOKI MAEDA
TK is the person who greatly influenced my music production work.
My Eurobeat and HYPER J-POP songs exist because of TK, and I don't think they'd have been created without his influence.
I'm really thankful to those involved for giving TЁЯRA the opportunity to present TK's song "Ichizuna koi", a song that I respect so much.
If the day comes where I can someday collaborate with TK, I'll be extremely HAPPY.....
In order to achieve this and not just dream about it, I want to continue showing the appeal of the NAOKI sound to the world more than ever, with a musical style only I can create.

The genre name is J-REVIVAL...
I'm extremely unfamiliar with J music, so I didn't know whose song it was at all (how embarrassing).
Aside from that. I tried to gather beautiful gradation tones and low saturated colors in the MOVIE to match this slightly lonely song. I also energetically incorporated live-action footage shot from when I went traveling, and layered the motifs over each other. I layered the completed MOVIEs over each other. I felt it took quite some time to create this.
F-FLY's method of creating short MOVIEs involves connecting many materials. And overlapping them. And overlap that MOVIE even more. I create them with that feeling, so I think thick & complex colors sometimes appear by chance, and result in interesting gradations.
