Profile
KAGE had been with beatmania IIDX since the very first release, beginning as a programmer in the original beatmania IIDX, and then becoming the series' director for the good part of a decade. His direction has helped bring beatmania IIDX to where it is today. KAGE also lent himself to appear in a few early beatmania IIDX videos, such as Schlagwerk. He was also the director of beatmania THE FINAL.
KAGE stepped down as director of the beatmania IIDX series after beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem, with Kenji Watanabe taking his place. He then served as producer of the series from beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle until about halfway through beatmania IIDX 21 SPADA, when DJ Yoshitaka took over as producer. (Yoshitaka's first full producing credit, though, was for beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL.) KAGE then worked as the producer of the REFLEC BEAT series until the series' cancellation in 2018.
It is currently unknown if KAGE still works at KONAMI.
