AC DDR X: Difference between revisions

Exclusive to the arcade version of DanceDanceRevolution X are X-Special Charts, which are old DDR original songs given brand-new, Challenge exclusive charts. These charts are initially only playable in the Extra Stage/Encore Extra Stages. Each mix consists of two songs: an Extra Stage, and an Encore Extra Stage. There are 8 sets of songs from [[AC DDR 1st|the first game]] through [[AC DDR EXTREME|EXTREME]] (In the case of DDRMAX through EXTREME, the Extra/Encore Extra Stage are in the same pattern as the original games' songs.) These charts are all listed under the DDR X category, despite being old songs.

The first set of stages (for the 1st game) were added on 2/12/2009. The other songs were added to DDR X on 3/16/2009, but were not unlocked until much later. To unlock the X-Special charts, you must complete certain requirements for your Final Stage, usually relating to the mix of origin of the song set. All the X-Special charts were unlocked for normal play on 10/1/2009.
