Motoaki Furukawa is a former KONAMI artist, working for KONAMI as early as 1987 in the Gradius series. Since then, he performed in numerous Konami games, such as Twinbee, Parodius, Sunset Riders, and A-JAX. He first appeared in the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series in 1999 for [[AC GF2DM1|GUITARFREAKS 2ndMIX]], and composed at least one song for each mix from [[AC GF4DM3|GUITARFREAKS 4thMIX & drummania 3rdMIX]] until [[AC GFDM V4|GuitarFreaks V4 & DrumMania V4]].
