A ghoul is coming (Coming coming)
A ghoul is coming (Better watch out)
The clip-clopping of its geta sandal echoes as it approaches
It's not a ghoul (No no)
It's not a ghost (What are you?)
Turn your head and look behind you, there's the GAMBLER Z
The spirit of justice burns a bright red It'll show the bad guys no quarter
Ahh, it's a real pain being an ally of justice
You know how it is~!
It's not a ghoul (No no)
It's not a ghoul (Then what can it be?)
It's putting all its strength into its ultimate attack, GAMBLER Z
Until the evil organization is thwarted It'll show foul play no quarter
My old man told me to watch out for it And now he's gone
Oh~ GAMBLER Z

* 妖怪Zの唄 is Hiroki Koga's first original composition for the main pop'n music series.
* 妖怪Zの唄 was a hidden song in pop'n music 4. To play it:
** 妖怪Zの唄 also marks Shinichi Ishihara's first non-anime song on the pop'n music series.
** On your first STAGE, clear a song with a MAX combo of 44 at the end.
* According to Seiya Murai, 妖怪Zの唄's genre was decided after the lyrics, even though it's a blues song. A song with the BLUES genre, 悪の野望はブルース, appeared later in pop'n music 6.
** On your second STAGE, clear either VISUAL (WHITE BIRDS) or VISUAL 2 (Cry Out).
** 妖怪Zの唄 will then be playable on FINAL STAGE. (If playing on PARTY/SCORE BATTLE mode, one of the two players must meet these requirements.)
* 妖怪Zの唄 is Hiroki Koga's first original composition for the pop'n music series.
** It also marks Shinichi Ishihara's first KONAMI original song in the pop'n music series.
* According to Seiya Murai, 妖怪Zの唄's genre was decided after the lyrics, even though it's a blues song. A song with the BLUES genre, 悪の野望はブルース, appeared later in pop'n music 6.
** Coincidentally, 悪の野望はブルース was also composed by Hiroki Koga under his ナヤ~ン・ブラザーズ・バンド alias, though it has a different vocalist.

Seiya Murai
The genre HORROR might sound vague. This is a standard blues song. The contents of the lyrics are basically the same.
Its theme makes me laugh, and it'd be a disaster if Gambler Z was also mistaken for Youkai.
Although the theme feels silly, this song's performance is amazingly solid. It's a proper live performance, and when I was also given this song by the creator, I thought "wouldn't it be nice to make this song into blues, and make it proper blues?". It's cool. But, maybe it's stylish to daringly make it in this funny theme (laughs).

Birthplace: Fairy-Tale Land
Likes: Gambler Z, curry
Character bio translation done by Madamluna from bemanistyle, from this thread:
He's cool on stage, but he's the funniest invisible member in "Deuil". In fact, when his fans aren't looking, he has a habit of humming strange songs.

Smile
INUCHIYO
He's the third "Deuil" member. When I first listened to HORROR, it sounded like a proper horror song, but... when it was completed, the song changed direction by 180 degrees, and I panicked. Anyways, this song has the simplest unlock conditions, so I hope that even girls and those who aren't heavy poppers will easily find it. To those who haven't played it yet, please try it.

On stage, though he is cool, Smile is the invisible member of Deuil. As a matter of fact, the fans don't see him humming to himself.
