Cancelled Games: Difference between revisions

Read as "Otoiroha", the game was similar to SOUND VOLTEX, with four transparent buttons over the screen, similar to jubeat, and two sliders on the side of the cabinet that needed to be slid into certain positions, similar to the knobs of SOUND VOLTEX. The game was revealed at JAEPO 2016 alongside ノスタルジア (read as "Nostalgia"), but no news about it was heard afterwards, and KONAMI quietly cancelled the game later that year (however, ノスタルジア, despite being marketed as the minor release of the two (and not being part of the BEMANI family at first), ended up being fully developed, set to release in the first few months of 2017.)

As of January 31st, 2017 on the eAMUSEMENT app, Otoiroha's character image tag and the possibility to select the game series as a favorite were removed without an announcement; the website isn't removed yet however but it has never been updated since the reveal. Few original songs were made for the game and it's currently unknown what will happen to them now.

A new BEMANI game has been confirmed to appear at JAEPO 2017 and it's implied to be the Otoiroha's replacement.
