After pop'n music 5, fellow BEMANI composer [[Jun Wakita]] would handle the sound direction of pop'n music with [[PnM AC 6|pop'n music 6]], though he continued to sound direct various pop'n music entries up to [[PnM AC 16|PARTY♪]]. Murai also appeared regularly for years in beatmania IIDX as of [[AC DistorteD|DistorteD]], and was the sound producer of the ''ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom'' series.
