Tatsuya Shimizu made his BEMANI debut in [[AC 10th style|beatmania IIDX 10th style]]. He became one of the sound directors of the beatmania IIDX series [[AC IIDX RED|one title later]], and he remained as one until [[AC DistorteD|beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD]]. Tatsuya left KONAMI in 2007 due to health problems, but later appeared as a commissioned artist between 2010 and 2013.
After graduating from [http://www.unknown24.net/bbrk/20030306/aaa avex artist academy], Tatsuya Shimizu joined KONAMI in 2003, with his first project being the first [[BeForU (album)|BeForU]] album, and his first proper BEMANI appearance the following year in [[AC 10th style|beatmania IIDX 10th style]]. He became one of the sound directors of the beatmania IIDX series [[AC IIDX RED|one title later]], and was the lead sound director of the following two games: [[AC HAPPY SKY|HAPPY SKY]] and [[AC DistorteD|DistorteD]]. His style of music in BEMANI focused on a more hard-hitting, speedy sound, along with dabbling into more conventional J-POP as well.


Outside BEMANI, Tatsuya has written several songs for anime series and games. He also founded his own label after he left KONAMI - ''Tatsh Music Circle''. He also produced several songs for CAPCOM's ''CROSSxBEATS'' produced by [[Naoki Maeda|NAOKI MAEDA]], another former in-house composer.
