* KONAMI cracks down on Diverse System, a Japanese music doujin label, from releasing any further albums containing unauthorized remixes of BEMANI songs on them, most notably their ''Dear Mr.'' and ''D'' series. Two such albums originally planned for ''Comic Market 79'' for December 2010, ''Dear, Mr. wac'' and ''D16'', were immediately cancelled. The ''D'' series was retired completely, while the ''Dear, Mr.'' series would be revived one more time in 2011 for a Minecraft-themed album called ''Dear,Mr.MINECRAFT'' before also being retired.
** In its place, Diverse System rushed into production a new two-disc album full of original songs titled ''THE DIVERSE SYSTEM''. A more completed version would be released the following year.
