Gyo Eguchi: Difference between revisions

VJ GYO, along with [[Goli Matsumoto|GOLI]], [[Yoshiaki Heshiki|HES]], and [[Nagisa Nakamoto|NAGI]], is one of the members of the IIDX team's "VJ Army," creating videos to go along with each and every one of the songs in IIDX. VJ GYO is to beatmania IIDX video production what [[Naoki_Maeda|NAOKI]] was to DDR composition, and what [[Takayuki_Ishikawa|dj TAKA]] was to IIDX composition: the real workhorse figure. Not only has he been involved since the beginning, but he is also likely responsible for many of the generic videos, as well as some of IIDX's signature characters, such as [[TRAN]], [[Acty Aries]], [[Tora Yamato]], and the SPEEDY CATs racing team of [[Mika]], [[Yuri]], and [[Akane]]. Most of his animated videos exclusively feature female characters in them. Prior to beatmania IIDX, Gyo worked as a movie designer in the original beatmania series.

VJ GYO has also occasionally lend his drawing skills to pop'n music, including drawing TRAN's 2-D look, as well as creating several assorted characters for the series. He's also worked on the design team of the arcade DanceDanceRevolution games.
