I was assigned to create the 2P/DP Another chart, with my goal being to make it enjoyable to play in both modes. I spent quite a lot of time tweaking each section thoroughly.<br> | |||
My highest priority in particular was checking for any patterns with button and turntable combos that might be unreasonable when playing DP mode.<br> | |||
I played the actual chart myself to determine whether they were indeed unreasonable, and then removed those patterns.<br> | |||
In their place, I made a chart with innovative (?) patterns and an experience you could only have when playing DP.<br> | |||
I also took as much care as possible to make the chart feel in 2P mode like you could be playing it in SP mode.<br> | |||
Combining the two, it became a "high-difficulty, thoroughly DP-style" chart...<br> | |||
