I've always wanted to try my hand at making a Touhou arrangement!<br> | |||
I wanted to make a name for myself in the "[[BEMANI x Touhou Project Ultimate MasterPieces|BEMANI×Touhou Project Ultimate MasterPieces]]" album, but I had to give it up in tears because I was overwhelmingly busy with other duties. I had given up on the idea, as there would be no Touhou arrangements in the BEMANI framework for a while. But then I heard about this project, so I was the first one to apply. | |||
There are so many good songs in Touhou Project that I had a hard time deciding which song to arrange. The melodies are especially good, aren't they? All of them are catchy and memorable to the ear.<br> | |||
After much deliberation, I decided on this song, which I think is the most emotional song in Touhou, as I love emotional melodies. I feel sympathy for the story and characters of the original song! | |||
I personally feel that the best part of the original song is the catharsis that comes from the frustration that builds up during the droll first half of the song, and is released during the super catchy chorus in the second half, so I tried to make it even more powerful in the arranged version.<br> | |||
