AC DDR A: Difference between revisions

** Unlike other regions, North America does not use the e-amusement Participation system in place since [[AC DDR 2013|DanceDanceRevolution (2013)]], allowing the cabinets to be playable without an e-amusement connection at the cost of operators being required to purchase upgrade kits for each version, instead of receiving it as a free download.

** European machines do not have e-amusement support due to regulations by the European Union. As with the North American version however, they do not require an e-amusement connection.

**** European machines also lack a full option menu and access to Extra Stage/Encore Extra Stage due to this.

** Last North American/European DanceDanceRevolution game to provide a new marquee.

* Beginning on May 21st, 2021, European cabinets received an update via USB with the following changes:

** Songs from the DDR 20th Anniversary event are available for normal play.

** [[only my railgun]], [[Maware! Setsugetsuka|回レ！雪月花]] and [[Houkago stride|放課後ストライド]] are removed, subsequently after removal in [[AC_DDR_A20_PLUS#Removed_Songs|DanceDanceRevolution A20 PLUS]].

** Song difficulties updated to the levels detailed [[AC DDR A#Difficulty Changes|below]]. No difficulty changes from [[AC DDR A20 PLUS#Difficulty Changes|DanceDanceRevolution A20 PLUS]] were used, despite being the current version at the time of update.

** The KONAMI and e-amusement logo were updated to the present design.

** YUNI's outfit was updated, replacing the DanceDanceRevolution A logo with the [[AC DDR A20|A20]] logo.
