<center>A story that begins with an "A" and ends with a "period".</center>

Since I was allowed to write one last song, I decided to do what I had always wanted to do.
The early DDR soundtracks were tied to Dancemania, and Disc-1 was synonymous with the regular soundtrack, while Disc-2 was a nonstop megamix.
I admired this and was thinking of when a TAG album would come out, I would make Disc-2 a nonstop megamix. In the end, the album never came out, but that's what I thought about putting this nonstop into two minutes.
I wanted to include all of the TAG songs that were first released in DDR, but I couldn't fit them all in, so I put together a lineup that emphasized the composition of the songs, their connections, and my feelings about them.
When you hear the title DDR TAGMIX, you may think that it is a TAG version of DDR MEGAMIX. Yes, there is that nuance, but it has another meaning.
It is a fictional version of DDR featuring TAG.
DDR has collaborated with TRUE KiSS DESTiNATiON, DREAMS COME TRUE, Disney and Super Mario in the past, so it's easy to think of it as a TAG version of that.
In the early days, version names were counted as a number + mix, such as 2ndMIX, 3rdMIX, etc. I took advantage of this and called it TAGMIX because it was TAG.
In this TAGMIX version, all of the playable songs, system BGM, voices, etc., are composed by TAG.
Then I thought of a storyline where the TAG album that would be released was an album by individual artist, but it was also the soundtrack to the fictional game DanceDanceRevolution TAGMIX, and since it is was a DDR soundtrack, Disc 2 is a nonstop megamix.
In fact, I was rather serious about naming the TAG album "DanceDanceRevolution TAGMIX Original Soundtrack" if it was ever released.
Come to think of it, TЁЯRA also tied up with a fictional version in the form of "DanceDanceRevolution featuring TЁЯRA ~NON STOP MEGAMIX~" on their first album, and what they did is the same as this.

I think that the names of the title and artist were quite an annoyance for the designers, but the origins of each are as follows:
<big>underground</big><br>
First seen in roppongi EVOLVED. It came from the convention of the Wii DDR games to add "underground" to the artist names of the boss songs.
<big>overlay</big><br>
First seen in Over The “Period”. At that time, there was a negative rumor that DDR would terminate its service when MAX.(period) appeared in the AC version, and I named it with the intention of overriding that.
<big>UNLEASHED</big><br>
Just as I was working on this song, a new Gundam plastic model was announced. Its name was "PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-78-2 GUNDAM". It is a culmination of PG (PERFECT GRADE), which is in the highest grade.
UNLEASHED means "set free", and there is no better name than this to express how I'm feeling right now.
In the first draft, I was going to put it in the title, but the string "LAST DanceR" came to me later, so I decided to put it in the artist name.
<big>DDR TAGMIX</big><br>
As mentioned above, it can mean two things: a TAG version of DDR MEGAMIX, or a fictional DDR version featuring TAG.
<big>LAST DanceR</big><br>
From the name of the ultimate aircraft in R-TYPE FINAL, the (then) final entry in the classic side-scrolling shooter series "R-TYPE". The name of the operation to protect the earth from space threats, Operation Last Dance, was already an exciting development, but the name of the aircraft that would do it was very influential at the time.
It's "Last Dancer" because it's my last song to be provided for a dance game called DDR. It's a very simple structure, but I couldn't think of anything better.
By the way, the mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters in "DanceR" is borrowed from the name of Dance"DanceR"evolution, which is one of my favorite games.

Why do you need KONAMI ORIGINAL songs?<br>
Because ...
I ended my comment on "Over The "Period"" there because<br>
I was sure that each reader would have their own interpretation and feelings about it,<br>
so I left it to their imagination without making a definite decision.
If there are any words ahead,<br>
I would continue with<br>
"Because I love BEMANI and DDR".
A story that begins with an "<ruby>A<rt>Another Phase</rt></ruby>" and ends with a "<ruby>period<rt>Over The “Period”</rt></ruby>".</center>
