This song "HEAT-BIT-HIT-BEAT" was released as a collaboration song with jubeat.<br>
To those who've already listened to the jubeat copious soundtrack CD, I created this song with very nostalgic orchestral hit sounds, using a sampler sound source app for smartphones... I wrote about the equipment in its liner notes, but for pop'n, I'd like to talk about this song's structure and theme.
This song has so-called 7-beats, but it's actually in an odd time signature which alternates from 3/4 to 4/4, and it also has a complicated structure with reversed combinations by section.<br>
However, when you listen to it, it's difficult to get into the rhythm, and some listeners may hear it as "bang! Bang! Bang bang!" noises.<br>
But when you learn this song's composition, it's easy to get into the rhythm, and your score will probably increase.
Interestingly, listeners initially covered their ears and said "what!? This song is noisy~!", but after listening to it many times during gameplay, when they immediately got used to this odd time signature and listened to the noise as rhythms, it seems many people changed their minds and said "huh? perhaps I'm gradually liking it...".
... That's the song's theme!
Actual factories are initially noisy and considerably loud, but for some people, the noise gradually turns into a pleasant sound, so when you stay there for a while, you'll get used to the familiar sounds and won't be bothered by them.<br>
Since this song has the image of changing from "noise → music", it may sound very repetitive, monotonous, and loud, but when you can distinguish that "noise ≒ music", I hope you'll think "oh, it's somehow addictive, don't stop~!".<br>
I've aimed for this state since I started creating game sounds, "it's frustrating, but it's going round and round inside my ears...".
When I just make pop songs, I seem to think "will I make these kinds of songs", but there was a time when I always only used to listen to these kinds of songs, and I actually quite like them somehow... I'm a resident of this world (laughs).<br>
By all means, when you repeatedly play it, please join this side, we're waiting anytime! (〃ゞ)ノ

Since this is an APPEND TRAVEL collaboration song, this is a co-production with the pop'n team, following APPEND FESTIVAL's "Quilt"!<br>
I'd like to thank all the designers for always helping me, including shio....
mimi&nyami sei-jin are secretly mass produced at a certain factory...<br>
That's terrifying!!<br>
If a child sees this, their trauma level will definitely increase.<br>
I'm crying.
mimi&nyami sei-jin's indescribable and nonchalant facial expressions strangely match such trauma image!
pop'n also successfully continues from this jacket's image, and they've created very impressive animations.
jubeat characters also make guest appearances everywhere, so it's a must-see.
If you're interested in mimi&nyami sei-jin, check it out here too!<br>

A mysterious seijin created in a secret factory.<br>
Their aim is to save energy and let's go to a company trip with everyone.

This product was born after I received an image of a factory line and mass production from Murai. Since this was an APPEND TRAVEL commemorative event, the copious sei-jins and mimi nyami works well, and are very useful. I'm glad they eventually sprouted wings!

When I read the email from back then to write this comment, I was surprised that it was quite lenient.<br>
<small>Title: jubeat copious song character<br>
This is a message that Murai's song character has been decided.</small> →  click!

Maybe the jubeat team saw this<br>
".. Huh?"<br>
Perhaps it turned out like an adult, as expected<br>
I'm thankful for the cool jacket.<br>
On the contrary, we also received various copious data, and were very spoiled to have many guests appearing.<br>
The baby owl is so cute.

Perhaps they're still vigorously multiplying in a planetary factory somewhere to fill the universe.

When I first listened to it, I thought "yes. There's various sounds" and carefully made the notecharts without being in minor key.<br>
The parts with strong accents like "dandandan dadadan" have simultaneous presses, so I think your score will increase when you get used to listening to it. But the music bar is strange, so you might get tired when you continuously play it...

This is the APPEND TRAVEL project song!<br>
Is it a refined and cool industrial? Experimental? Techno?<br>
It's difficult to categorize.<br>
It's important not to lose yourself to the repetitive odd time signature.<br>
It's like a life lesson!<br>
It's deep! Refined! And cool! They all have 3-beats.

I like factories.<br>
I'd like to intently see how mimi nyami sei-jin is created.<br>
I wonder when factory tours will be possible.

This genre name moves my heart.<br>
LO-BIT... it sounds good.

HEAT-BIT-HIT-BEAT makes you want to suddenly shout its song title, right?<br>
Like Akasaka Sacas.

Chihi
The square feeling seems like it's perfect for a block, so at the end of the production line, I hoped for them to be perfectly packaged without any space with a "great as a gift"-like finish, but Mimi and Nyami's ears are triangular and don't fit the square box...<br>
They weren't able to be packaged, but mimi nyami sei-jin drifts in space with a dream-like ending, which reflects the present where space development supports factory engineering!<br>
Please take care of MUSCLE sei-jin~.

Mameshiba
Is the song title very difficult that you can't remember it?<br>
You're an idiot for including it, Murai!<br>
This is for you! "Hitobito"!<br>
If you generally remember it as "hitobito hitobito", it's OK!

mimi nyami sei-jin was produced in a factory.<br>
When one song is finished, it feels like one mimi nyami sei-jin is completed.<br>
Each sound feels like striking a metal plate.<br>
It's more enjoyable to hit while thinking of this... perhaps.

"The orchestra hits and me"

I'm sorry that this story has nothing to do with my grandfather at all, but back when PCM sound sources were used in old video game music, popular sounds meant orchestra hits.<br>
I spent my middle school days copying video game music, and I tried to copy many masterpieces such as A-JAX's "COMMAND 770", where you spin round and round in a dogfight, and fight fish, but it was difficult to recreate the 2 operation sound source and orchestra hits in my beloved MSX's option cartridge, and I remember a lonely sound playing when I layered them.<br>
That beloved machine was the so-called "People's HIT-BIT". It's somehow connected like fate.

Well, since this time it's let's go APPEND TRAVEL, when I requested Murai to make a great song for jubeat or pop'n, I suggested for a route like HARD Pƒ or KENKA DRUMS. When he said "I'll use orchestra hits", would he actually use orchestra hits in the song...? I thought of this, but it's as expected of Murai.<br>
Actually, everyone loves the happy and embarrassing orchestra hits, and following the re-evaluation of 8-bit, doesn't it feel like it's revived?<br>
Let's all play this song and fill the city with orchestra hits.
