Yasuhiro Taguchi, best known as TAG, joined KONAMI as a [https://mond.how/ja/topics/h4k5vhs9o0s46tg KCE School student] in their sound creator course. Later that year, he composed his first BEMANI song, [[El Dorado]], in [[AC GFDM V3|GuitarFreaks V3 & DrumMania V3]], and remained a regular in GuitarFreaks & DrumMania for several years. He then later branched out into most other BEMANI series by the end of the decade, most notably beatmania IIDX and DanceDanceRevolution. In the latter series, he served as the sound director from [[AC DDR X2|DanceDanceRevolution X2]] through [[AC DDR 2014|DanceDanceRevolution (2014)]], after previously serving as the sound director of the PlayStation 2 home ports of [[CS DDR SuperNOVA2 NA|Super]][[CS DDR SuperNOVA2 JP|NOVA]][[CS DS SuperNOVA2|2]] and [[CS DDR X NA|of]] [[CS DDR X JP|X]].
