One of pop'n music's most frequent composers, Seiya's history with Konami dates back to as early as 1996, where he started off doing music for various tracks for the (at the time) popular ''Tokimeki Memorial Vocal'' CDs, as well as the Red Company-developed RPG / dating simulation ''Mitsumete Knight''. (One of the tracks from that was later remixed in pop'n music as [[THE MAN FROM FAR EAST]].) His first project for Bemani was the 1999 pop'n stage EX, a re-release of [[PnS_AC_1|pop'n stage]] with two new songs, one of them being his song [[WE TWO ARE ONE]] that was soon ported to [[PnM AC 4|pop'n music 4]]. Since [[PnM AC 4|pop'n music 4]] he has appeared in every arcade entry. He also served as head sound director of [[PnM AC 4|4]] and [[PnM AC 5|5]], as well as being the co-director of KEYBOARDMANIA 2ndMIX with  [[Hiroki Koga|Naya~n]] and head sound director of KEYBOARDMANIA 3rdMIX, the final entry in the series. After pop'n music 5, fellow Bemani composer [[Jun Wakita]] would handle the sound direction of pop'n music with [[PnM AC 6|pop'n music 6]], though Seiya continued to sound direct various pop'n music entries up to [[PnM AC 16|PARTY♪]]. Seiya also appears regularly in IIDX as of [[AC_DistorteD|DistorteD]].
