FREDDIE HATAE (whom you may know from GUEEN) is the vocalist for the song, which parodies '80s new wave.

The synth drums and bass are simple yet nostalgic, representing the aesthetic of the era and coming together as a result of an elaborate production process, including note placements.

Video Production Information

The unusual (?) use of colors for this song had a divided reception even within our own team.

The complete lack of restraint in the artwork's colors was due to the sound department's demands to make the art as silly as the music. The '80s-style pixel and ASCII art are somehow neo-futuristic with electrons?

The first time you hear the song, you think, "What the heck is this?" The second time around, it starts sounding good. By the third time, you're hooked. It's got that addictive quality to it.
