Talk:DanceDanceRevolution GRAND PRIX music packs

I noticed that this text was removed twice, once from the main article before this article existed, and then once from here:

Some contents of these music packs may already be available for play in the game modes requiring tickets.

Is there a reason why this is not considered relevant/important? This characteristic is unique to this game (as opposed to the other Konasute releases), and it is not wholly implied by the text "Purchasing a music pack adds its contents to the GRAND PRIX mode, so its songs can be played without consuming tickets." Konami themselves considered it important enough that they put it in RED on the purchase page. --Yyr (talk) 04:49, 28 December 2021 (UTC)

Wasn't this also the case for SDVX III CS? I never paid attention to that, but given how GP operates similarly to that, I figure the whole "these packs are only relevant in this mode" is the same too. --Thunderbird (talk) 06:14, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
You need a monthly subscription to keep up anything in the cloud games. It's not just for DDR, hence the axing of the info. Also what Thunderbird said. --M.B. (talk) 07:23, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
The difference here is that you can pay 5 tickets without having an active subscription, and play all 20 of these songs. That may have been how SDVX III worked, but that's being discontinued (ticket sales already ended). Most/all of the other Konasute releases require the sub to play at all, correct? And some folks come here just for info on DDR, not really paying attention to other games. I guess I'm just having trouble seeing a downside to putting that information here, unless we have a "minimum necessary" philosophy across the board, in which case I'll keep my future additions as brief as possible. --Yyr (talk) 18:08, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
Personally I think the line is fine to be included as long as it is mentioned in every page where it should be applied. --GlaringRadiokid (talk) 21:00, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
