* キミとワタシのオンガク was added to BeatStream アニムトライヴ on January 14th, 2016, as part of the ''Takahashi-san no otoshidama campaign!'' (タカハシサンのお年玉キャンペーン!) event.
* "Kimi to watashi no ongaku" (キミとワタシのオンガク) is Japanese for "music of you and me".
* キミとワタシのオンガク marks Seiya Murai's only original composition for the BeatStream series.
* According to Seiya Murai, he was requested by [[Tatsuya Iyama|Qrispy Joybox]] to write a song that would fit the 8-bit motif of BeatStream.
** Murai also jokes about how long it's been since he last used ALT in a song (which was almost three years ago, with [[Glass goshi buy now|ガラス越し→バイなう]] in [[AC GD|GITADORA]]). The first word of キミとワタシのオンガク's lyrics, "ひさしぶり" (hisashiburi, Japanese for "long time no see"), may be a reference to this.
* According to Motoco, the characters in キミとワタシのオンガク's video are named Moegi (もえぎ, green-haired girl), Nanoha (なのは, yellow-haired girl), Ruri (るり, blue-haired girl), and Sakura (さくら, pink-haired girl).
** The girls' names are all derived from the names of traditional Japanese colors which relate to the colors of their hair, with "moegi" (萌黄) being a medium shade of green; "nanohanacha" (菜の花色) being a brownish yellow; "ruri-iro" (瑠璃色) being a deep blue; and "sakura-iro" (桜色) being a pale pink.
