Song Production Information

"Empty"

The quote of a big motif, which sounds quite grandeur.

A tragic, sad story about the splitting up of two people.

When I was conceptualizing the album "Backdrops", Yoshitaka asked me, "What kind of music do you find yourself working on 10 years from now?" This idea was the conception of beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS, and I still remember him asking me this question even now as I wrote a song for the game.

I remember so clearly still, and I remember thinking that the concept, but I don't think it was much of a "stretch". It's not that. It's just that I don't imagine myself 10 years from now what I'll be doing. You can't imagine what happens in the future until it does. So I guess it is bit of a stretch. I struggled to find an answer.

I feel like I've already worked a long stretch of time, and I'm already starting to feel nostalgia whenever I see something like an oak tree.

But for now I want you to hear my fresh new work - one of interest to you.

Video Production Information

Hello. This is MAYA.

The sight of kabimasu, with ephemeral flowers scattering across the breeze.

I made quite a handful of images for this song, so it was hard to choose only one of them for this song.

The colors in the art are dull and pale, but are revived by the vividness of a flashy light.

Somehow it leaves me feeling nostalgic.

...I like it!
