E-amusement

General Information

e-AMUSEMENT is an online service offered by Konami to enable certain games to access special unlocked content, as well as providing live Internet ranking. It is used primarily by Beatmania IIDX and Pop'n Music. Currently, e-AMUSEMENT will only work in Japan, as you need a subscription with Konami to activate it.

Functions

• Allows users to register scores and records on their own cards.
• Provides live Internet ranking.
• Unlocks secret songs.

How To Use (Beatmania IIDX)

1. Insert coin(s) and press Start.
2. Insert your card into the reader on your side. Cards may be purchased from the arcade.
3. Enter your DJ/Ranking name.
4. Select your home Prefecture with the turntable. This is used for sorting Internet Ranking. The machine's default prefecture is automatically highlighted.
5. Input your PIN. This is used to authenticate your card. Input it again to confirm.
6. You will be shown your IIDX ID. Write it down, you can use this to select other players to be your "rivals".
7. You will now have to link your card with a Konami ID.

If You Don't Have a Konami ID

• 1. Select the second option from the top.
  2. Enter a Konami ID. This is an alphanumeric string between 8 and 32 characters long, lower-case only, with only "_" and "-" allowed as punctuation. It is basically a username. Press OK when you're happy with it.
  3. Now enter your PIN.
  4. Remember both your Konami ID and PIN, you will now need to register online or on your phone within 10 days or your Konami ID will be lost. Register online here.

If You Have a Konami ID

• 1. Select the third option from the top.
  2. Enter your Konami ID and press OK.
  3. Enter your PIN.
  4. Your card is now linked to your Konami ID.
