Music Production Info

Hi, Pink Pong here. Thanks to all of you who have kept 9th style close to their hearts while moving on to 10th and let me participate again! (pink pong debuted in IIDX in 8th style.) I hope we'll all still get along from here on out!

This is the 6th installment in my "dream" series. During production, I think about what I should do to make my own dreams realities; I think about what I can't do and what I don't like, and deal with them at my own pace and keep moving forward. I've always thought I could somehow come closer to attaining my dreams this way.

Play this song like you're fighting a battle to win your dreams! Then, move on into the future!!!!

Video Production Info

Your dreams for the future change little by little every day. What should you do to make these dreams come true?

At first they say if you study as hard as you can, you'll be guaranteed to be able to overcome any hardship. So does that mean you should spend years of your life in hours-long classes learning the advanced theorems of some genius professor, right? No way. You'd forget it after a few months. Oh, that's not all. Just studying won't give you motivation necessary for mastery.

I'd rather count on more reliable, easier to understand ways of making a living. So, when I got my first job, I got a guitar and a bike. Was I going to be a musician or a racer!?

I was no good at the guitar. I just had a lot of fun "playing" along unplugged to CDs. I was pretty fast on a bike (I thought). So I put a lot of effort into that. Actually, a kind of eccentric professor of mine arranged for a certain woman racer to come to our school. It was almost like a little mini lecture series. I can remember all the stories she told in her flashy leather racing gear ... it stuck with me for a long time. It had a huge influence on me; it was like she had become some sort of a rival to me, and I wasn't about to lose. I even began to wonder if I could surpass her level of skill. But I never had enough skill even to compete with a friend of mine; he even ended up getting an international license (though now he's switched to bicycles). That wasn't any good either.

So why do all these memories of vague dreams come rushing back when I listen to this song!? It's definitely not just because of the title. I don't think just a song title can swing open the rusted-shut doors of your old memories. The key must be a level of musical skill that can accurately respond to the movements of my heart from that time.
