Song Connections / Remixes
- GOONIES"R"GOOD ENOUGH is a chiptune instrumental remix of the Cyndi Lauper song The Goonies 'R' Good Enough, which was used as the ending theme for the 1985 movie The Goonies.
- The version of GOONIES"R"GOOD ENOUGH used in pop'n music is based on the version of the song heard in the Japan-only 1986 Famicom game The Goonies (which was only available in North America on Nintendo VS. System and PlayChoice-10 arcade units), which was published by KONAMI.
- The background of the song, as well as MICHAEL's animations/usage of bombs, are also references to The Goonies video game as well.

Trivia
- MICHAEL is one of the very few characters in the TV&ANIME category that ever had two different palettes.
- At the time, he was the only character from a license with a 2P palette.
- According to Cyndi Lauper, the original name of GOONIES"R"GOOD ENOUGH was just Good Enough, but Warner Bros. forced her to add "The Goonies 'R'" to the title to advertise the release of The Goonies movie. Lauper hated this name change (as well as the song itself) and didn't play it live after 1987 until 2004 in disgust. It also didn't appear on any of her compilation albums until 2003's The Essential Cyndi Lauper.
- Mikoshiba erroneously notes in the character information that The Goonies was directed by Steven Spielberg. Although Spielberg did write the story, and his studio did make the film, the film itself was directed by Richard Donner, best known as the director of the first Superman movie and the entire Lethal Weapon franchise.
