Video/overlay art still unknown
The following two CANNON BALLERS videos/overlays with still unknown artists:
Release date
Source? --M.B. (talk) 06:53, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- I think it came from here: https://twitter.com/DJ__KEN1/status/934950632942845952 --FinalOffset (talk) 11:38, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
Separate US release date?
Is it really accurate to give a US release date when the Round1 machines are just the Japanese version? --Thunderbird (talk) 04:39, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- It's really more of a thing of kits getting sent after an unspecified delay. Technically the only true legit release was the first JPN one. --UBerserker (talk) 21:03, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Korea and the rest of Asia have their own separate versions of the game, and I think there was something weird going on with the Korean release (I've heard a couple different stories, but have no sources for either). But I'm pretty sure that the kits destined for Round1 are sent out on the release day, but they likely don't use very fast shipping (copula took two weeks to show up at the Round1 I play at). The kits started arriving at the PHM location (the main Round1 hub in the US) on the 18th, but the one I play at didn't get theirs until almost a week later. --Thunderbird (talk) 01:06, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- Not counting US as a source either. And we never did it for any other pages until now. I'm removing it. --M.B. (talk) 21:07, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
Cannon Racer event notes
Some things I noted when I was working on the event yesterday:
- The TP seems to cap at 40,000, at least on the first continent (I'm heading to checkpoint 11 at the moment). I stopped earning points once I hit that point (and got 464 points instead of 500 while playing in Free Mode).
- The songs that were added in the second phase can be unlocked while on the first continent, they were in the list of stuff I could choose from at each checkpoint.
According to Bemaniwiki, if one or both of the unlocks from beating other racers haven't been obtained by the time the continent is finished, they'll be awarded when reaching the goal. I don't see myself getting Red Zone's new chart before I finish the first continent, as my win chance against that car doesn't seem to move from 1%, so I'll likely find this out for myself the next time I go to Round1. --Thunderbird (talk) 18:00, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- I haven't translated all the info from BEMANIWiki yet (nor I have a way to play IIDX currently), so feel free to add all the info that you find to the article. --FinalOffset (talk) 19:34, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, there is no "POP TEAM EPIC" for IIDX's April 1
Just a joke from textage.cc and GMT+ time zone!
I think this joke has failed, however.
HYPER BOUNDARY GATE edit
The Single ANOTHER chart was never in an arcade release until now. Please don't remove it from the new charts listing. --M.B. (talk) 12:30, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
Be A Hero! unlocked?
I played the song in ARENA MODE without unlocking it, and it showed up in STANDARD every time since then. I guess you can unlock it by playing it there?? --M.B. (talk) 18:01, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- It was unlocked for me the first time I went to Round1 after buying the second INFINITAS pack. Hadn't touched it on AC prior, since I didn't have it, but I had played it on INFINITAS prior via Rival Challenge. So this one's a little weird. And for even more fun, the CBS unlock page still thinks I don't have it. --Thunderbird (talk) 19:46, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Cannon Racer finish
Is it actually a gold medal for finishing the third continent? It's usually a platinum medal for finishing events (barring copula's Mystery Line, which didn't really have a proper end...) --Thunderbird (talk) 01:49, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Regarding LEGGENDARIA unlocks
I've been thinking about this for a while now, but seeing as some Black charts are being ported to AC now as LEGGENDARIA charts, how should we list them in regards to origin?
- New†, Black† {from|CS chart source}
- New† {from|original song source}, Black† {from|CS chart source}
- New† {from|original song source}, Black† {from|original song source}
I personally would prefer the first option given that LEGGENDARIA charts have their own separate spot on the songwheel, but the second option could also work (though it might be kinda confusing). What do you think? --Divinity
- I think the first option is better. --FinalOffset (talk) 15:21, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
BEMANI Designers
Does anyone know why KONAMI has left the artists for CANNON BALLERS' overlays/videos uncredited (and have gone so far in jubeat as to leave all the jackets to outside artists now), while the SOUND VOLTEX crew's names are not censored on their jacket information? It screams to me as both hypocrisy and favoritism. --M.B. (talk) 20:08, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
