I have a very deep emotional attachment to this song.
I produced an album in 1998, the year when the 2-step movement began, but singer Sandra Escoffery passed away before its release.
Her catchy vocals and the magnitude of your requests have allowed this song to traverse through beatmania's history, I feel.
I plan on including a new mix of it on my soon-to-be-released new album, as well.
I'll also add that her younger siblings, Michelle and Shaun, have grown to become prominent singers, putting out songs with Artful Dodger and MJ Cole that became major UK hits.
