Does anyone notice this during gameplay? I noticed this one lately. I checked this one also in 3rdMIX. Same observation and discovery. Every UP arrow is placed under the next respective UP arrow. The rest of the arrows are placed on top of their next respective arrows. This is noticeable on stepcharts if using x0.25 modifier. It looks like this has never been corrected since then.

Every UP arrow SHOULD be placed under the next respective UP arrow. I hope the product development team of Konami in charge of DanceDanceRevolution should notice this observation I have discovered lately and have it corrected in their next game update. --[[User:Luigi.a.cruz|Luigi.a.cruz]] ([[User talk:Luigi.a.cruz|talk]]) 04:34, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

Minimoni. Step

So, apparently this licensed Konami game has songs compatible with the DDR pad: https://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/582874-minimoni-step-up-pyon-pyon-pyon/images/122695

Anyone know if this is new stuff on here, or just old DDR songs? --M.B. (talk) 18:20, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

  • Good find, it does have unique songs and difficulties for each of them (i.e. [1]). More info and song list can be found here. --FinalOffset (talk) 19:11, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
  • The youtube video above is unavailable, however, I found this niconico video. - QueenZ (talk) 11:42, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Rhythm Rhythm Revolution

Rhythm Rhythm Revolution

Found this while looking at takuya_tail2's videos on youtube, from Konami's GameBoy Advanced Game: Minna no oujisama (みんなの王子様, The Prince of Everything).
A spinoff mini-game (similar to DanceDanceRevolution Tokimeki MIX in ときめきメモリアル2 Substories: Dancing Summer Vacation), using The Prince of Tennis (テニスの王子様) as it's theme and using songs (instrumental versions) from that franchise. 7 songs in total, with 3 songs that need to be unlocked.

some gameplay (showing the MANIAC chart):
YES YES YES!
青いジダイ
PRINCE OF GENIUS

Is this enough information to be added to the wiki? any thoughts? - QueenZ (talk) 09:41, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

  • Late reply, but sure, given that Tokimeki MIX is here. --GlaringRadiokid (talk) 11:14, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
    • Cool/Thanks, I'll add it to the CS DDR JP template. - QueenZ (talk) 11:42, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

DAM-DDR

Commercial video

Apparently this was a combo karaoke machine + DDR. It used karaoke MIDIs of a library of about 20k songs and autogenerated steps. Worth a page? --totally not by MENDES (talk) 12:06, 21 November 2017 (UTC)

Here's a link to its former homepage if it helps. Also, here's the homepage for DAM DDR 2nd. Arcorann (talk) 12:31, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the finds. I'm going to start making stubs of these pages later today. --FinalOffset (talk) 19:44, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

DDR 20th Confirmed by 4Gamer

DDR Best of Cool Dancers

  • This is a special build of 2ndMIX used for a KONAMI sanctioned tournament years ago. While it isn't really remarkable as a game, maybe we can add a page detailing the info that we can gather about both the event and game? --FinalOffset (talk) 15:38, 28 February 2020 (UTC)

Not included

Under "Arcade Version Information" > "Japanese Releases", why are the following versions, editions, or releases of DanceDanceRevolution not included?

  • DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX Solo (or DanceDanceRevolution Solo 4thMIX)
  • DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX PLUS Solo (or DanceDanceRevolution Solo 4thMIX PLUS)

Every UP arrow during gameplay
