Template:DDR Chart Info vs. DDR Chart
More i-appli BEMANI games
Hi there!
It turns out there's more i-appli BEMANi games than just DDR as seen in these pages. However, I don't know how to properly add a new page and I would like these to be added for me if possible. Sorry about that but yeah lol
thank u however if u do add them!!! --booty (talk) 02:32, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
* jubeat is already here, as mobile and mobile2. For the other series, I'll add stubs for them right now. Thanks! --FinalOffset (talk) 04:22, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

I've noticed some pages using a DDR Chart Info table and some pages using a DDR Chart Header + DDR Chart. Is the first one deprecated? The tables look vastly similar, and I've only realized the differences when going into the sources.

the guidelines i have in mind are as follows<br>
- putting them in chronological order would be a rather good idea<br>
- if a song has only one jacket/banner/etc in a series, one can put the name of the series as a whole in the description. if not, the game in which the graphic first appeared must be specified (EXCEPTION: the song and an alternate version for it debutting in the same game, and having no different variations afterwards, in which the game doesn't need to be specified)<br>

</gallery>

* Yes, the Chart Info table is indeed deprecated. Chart Header + Chart allows to create an infinite number of rows, it is smaller in size, and allows to make some variations of the table itself (though this is more relevant for other series, i.e. allowing IIDX songs to display Black ANOTHER charts or pop'n music to show 7-Button charts). --FinalOffset (talk) 17:40, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
- for difficulty variants, the name of the difficulty could be put in paranthesis after the game/series name

Is adding referral to iTunes or Long version connection is not significant to put into *Song Connections* section? If so I will stop doing this.<br>
- for alternate graphics (e.g. upper charts, dancerush's different "versions", tsuminagara's "midnight" jacket in reflec), the parenthesis is only needed in the alternate version, like these
(refer to this edit: https://remywiki.com/index.php?title=Radical_shoujo&curid=28876&diff=298524&oldid=298515)

Or is it just duplicated information on "Album" section itself?

But to argue on this, I'm sure some people might want to know if there is long version of their favorite song or not.

DDR Extreme locked songs
Regarding the revert on Monkey Dance
Hi FinalOffset. I added the locked song count on DDR Extreme based on the fact that MAX2 has a Challenge-only song count. What would be the best way to present this information? Many places have Extreme, but because they lack the unlock code, that leaves six songs available only in special modes (ES, OMES or Challenge) and another 10 songs that can never be played. --LABcrab (talk) 18:35, 19 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, was wondering regarding the rationale regarding the revert on the change I made on Monkey Dance. Given that the longer versions of Monkey Dance '09 are directly related to Monkey Dance as direct remixes of it similar to Butterfly or ABSOLUTE's song connection sections. Would it be better in Longer Version -> Short Version format instead?<br>
* Pointing it on the Unlock Information section would be nice. I eventually have to clean the EXTREME page as it lumps every single song (including hidden) on a single table. --FinalOffset (talk) 21:18, 19 May 2017 (UTC)
Example:<br>
* Long version
** Short playable version
** Alternative version
-Movesp (talk) 19:19, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
* It's something that has been done for years here. We want to avoid cluttering pages with redundant information. Since Monkey Dance '09 has its own page, their long versions and other related songs should be only in that page, not in the original Monkey Dance's. --GlaringRadiokid (talk) 19:49, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

EXTRA RUSH
video production info with images
I've been experimenting with a few tables design for the EXTRA RUSH section. Which one is the best ?<br>
hello! i have a question regarding video production info translations; how would ones featuring commentary on images (in the same page as all of the other music comments) be done and formatted??<br>
, , / or
specifically, i'm looking into translating jet coaster girl's designer comments, i'm not aware of any other designer comments on other songs that are presented in a similar way (this is excluding ones like taratta dance's, where there are images of the characters to go along with their bios, but aren't needed to understand them), but regardless i'd prefer to know your stance on how it should be handled before going ahead with it.<br>
or maybe you have a better idea :)
in this specific case, should the concept art and the commentary on it be omitted entirely (which i'd personally prefer to not do), or should it be included, and if so, how should it be formatted and such? thanks in advance!<br>

Hi. I left a message on Talk:AC DDR USA, but it was deleted. There was no ill intent on my part, and I don't even support the band (Skillet) that I mentioned. I just found them playing dance games in a video, and thought it would be relevant, yet my comment was deleted and no explanation was given. Could you please get better policies, like Wikipedia policies, when it comes to solving disputes? I don't edit much on here, because I don't want all my work deleted "just because." Thank you for your time. --LABcrab (talk) 23:04, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

* I see no deleted pages regarding Talk:AC DDR USA, and your last edit on the DDR USA page has never been reverted, so I don't really know what you're referring to, I'm sorry.
: Regarding editing policies, usually a reason is given when an edit is completly reverted (i.e. false info, redundant info, pointless trivia, etc.) There are few disputes here, and usually can be solved by taking them to a Talk page. --FinalOffset (talk) 04:20, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I am doing some research into song jacket artists on SDVX. It looks like you placed Aoi Tagami's aliases on her page. My question is how did you know her aliases? I would like to ultimately discover every artist for every song jacket in SDVX... is there some form of credits or something?
About Lala Moore
* Hi, most of her aliases are plays/puns on her name (Aoi, which means "blue"), or are variations of aonisai, the main alias that she used in pop'n music. --FinalOffset (talk) 03:20, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

"CS DDRMAX US" vs. "CS DDRMAX NA" (and maybe "CS DDRMAX CA")
Greetings,

How come the wiki marks games with "US" when available throughout North America, aka. in Canada and Mexico with French and Spanish marketing materials? I don't know to what extent this wiki does redirects, but I think it would be fair to at least redirect. "CS DDRMAX NA" to "CS DDRMAX US". --LABcrab (talk) 20:25, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
I'd like to ask you something.
As far as I know, it was you who provided the info about Lala Moore being German, can I ask you how do you know that? I'm curious, because there's almost no info about her!
I've never played any of these games, but I played a videogame named Bust-A-Groove for MANY years. Some of the artists "re-recorded" the songs into English and they remained unknown for many years until now. I was able to find almost all of them and, despite not having a "confirmation" about Lala Moore, I know she sang two song of the game because she sounds like her.
Could you take a look? These are the songs from the game.

* The tidbit about Noriko being German is from the promotional description for her MOMENT album that can be found in various websites. It might have originated in a defunct, official website for the album, but I haven't checked if it existed.
