Since it's been a long time since I've done a IIDX song, I thought I'd go online and do some research. I read a few BBSes and I was surprised; a number of my first songs from 1999 are still pretty popular! I was very happy to see that [[gentle stress]] was especially popular, and that people are still playing it a lot even now. dj TAKA asked for a "mysterious drum'n'bass" song, so I, D.J.SWAN, make a second appearance here. | Since it's been a long time since I've done a IIDX song, I thought I'd go online and do some research. Since it's been a long time since I've done a IIDX song, I thought I'd go online and do some research. I read a few BBSes and I was surprised; a number of my first songs from 1999 are still pretty popular! I was very happy to see that gentle stress was especially popular, and that people are still playing it a lot even now. dj TAKA asked for a "mysterious drum'n'bass" song, so I, D.J.SWAN, make a second appearance here.
The two songs I made under the SWAN alias were a collaborative effort with a drum'n'bass DJ friend of mine, "K" (who wanted to remain anonyoums) around 1995. They were both written taking some of his suggestions to heart. After all, you buy rice cakes from the rice cake store. This time as well, as a nod to dance floor fans, there's lots of good percussion throughout the song. Do you like it? I truly hope you'll enjoy it.
A few days, I thought, "Let's try doing this again!" and headed down to the game center. ... yeah, right! When did it get this hard? Can you all really clear this stuff? Isn't this bad for you? Since it doesn't even sound like music when I play it, I had to ask this guy who looked really good to play my song for me ...
I can press all seven keys at once with the start button and ad-lib it, right?
I just remembered this, but TAKA's the one that came up with the title "Gentle Stress", isn't he?

This song was my first time making a movie specifically for a song.
Anyway, it was exhilarating. And speedy.
Deeper, deeper, and deeper still.
It seems there are many calm moments among the tempestuous nature of this song.
It feels really good to go from hiding in the calm moments to a point that clears up the darkness.
I also put in a bit of the idea of something hidden, taken from the title of the song.
Personally ... I think this song is pretty unique.
I was really happy to be able to full combo it.
