Profile
Shuichi Kobori is a former BEMANI artist who mainly worked on beatmania IIDX, starting off doing notecharts in beatmania IIDX 4th style CS and 5th style CS before becoming the sound director of beatmania IIDX 6th style CS. He mostly did drum'n'bass during his BEMANI tenure, though he also dabbled in a couple of instrumental songs with guitars, as well as a couple of 2step songs. Prior to joining KONAMI, Shuichi worked at SQUARESOFT as a sound effects designer.
Outside of BEMANI, Shuichi worked on sound editing for KONAMI's METAL GEAR SOLID series, eventually moving up to doing music for the third entry in the series, METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Snake Eater, as well as METAL GEAR AC!D.
Shuichi left KONAMI around 2012. He currently works as an audio director for Tango Gameworks, having worked on The Evil Within (also known as Psycho Break in Japan).
