Markers are indicators that pop up when and where a note should be hit. The official names of the markers were first revealed in jubeat ripples, and were first shown in the arcade titles' marker selection screen in jubeat Qubell.

  • Direction: from center / afar.
  • Animation: a circle enlarging with a cybernetic animation, and "TOUCH" is displayed at the center.

  • Speed: quite slow, decreasing (for "TOUCH" only; the speed of the lights are constant)
  • Timing: when "TOUCH" coincides in the middle and there's 5 lights on the top
  • Judgment animations:
    • Early/Late: stepping in rhythm, facing away (with blue floor light)
    • Good: stepping dance, facing towards the player (with blue floor light)
    • Great: 1 person performing break dance from nearby, and 2 people performing stepping dance from afar (with orange floor light)
    • Perfect: 1 person jumping from nearby, and 2 people performing break dance from afar (with glittering floor light)
  • Background with complementary color: Blue
