Lyrics

You and me, we've come a long way you know, baby.
But we've still got a long way to go, maybe.
Even if we don't have too much to show for it.

No matter what happens I'll always be here for you.
In the hard times I know love will see us through.
'Cause you know I will do whatever I have to do, girl.

Depend on me,
I'll always be around.
Depend on me
'Cause I won't let you down.

Everything, every way,
You know that every time, every day,
I do it all for you.
You can depend on me.

Every hour and every minute,
In all I do my heart is in it.
Give my life for you,
You can depend on me

One, two, three, go!

Depend on me
Depend on me
Depend on me

Song Connections / Remixes

  • DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.) is an arrangement of Depend on me from drummania, in a different musical key with added guitar parts.

Trivia

  • DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.) is one of the few GuitarFreaks & DrumMania songs that debuted with a short version and a long version in the same GuitarFreaks & DrumMania game.
  • DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.) is one of the songs available for play in GUITARFREAKS 5thMIX & drummania 4thMIX's MultiSession GDK.
  • In the KEYBOARDMANIA series, DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.)'s title and artist were changed to DEPEND ON ME and THOMAS HOWARD with AMSD BAND, respectively.
    • Also, it uses a generic video instead of its GuitarFreaks & DrumMania video.
  • DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.) has been removed and replaced with the original version from drummania for future DrumMania releases. However, the long version has been retained in the classic series as of GuitarFreaks V & DrumMania V.
    • Unlike DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.), the original Depend on me has never received Guitar charts, and is currently the only song in the XG/GITADORA series without Guitar charts.
  • DEPEND ON ME (Long Version)'s video features credits for the artists of the song. The video also contains a typo, misspelling "keyboards" as "keyboads".
    • This has been corrected upon its revival in GITADORA EXCHAIN.
  • DEPEND ON ME (Long Version) was revived and is available in GuitarFreaks V & DrumMania V with an e-AMUSEMENT account. The song has become automatically available in Standard Mode as of GuitarFreaks V2 & DrumMania V2.
  • DEPEND ON ME (New Ver.) has never been on a CS release of GuitarFreaks & DrumMania.
  • DEPEND ON ME (Long Version) is one of the Part 2 unlocks of the Tsuioku no GITADORA 1999~2002 (追憶のギタドラ1999~2002) event. It could be unlocked from March 20th to April 16th, 2019.
  • Before GITADORA EXCHAIN, DEPEND ON ME (Long Version) was credited to Thomas Howard Lichtenstein.
