Hidden Commands
Enable Undocumented Features in Previous Games
The information in this section pertains to beatmania THE SOUND OF TOKYO! and beatmania 6thMIX + CORE REMIX.
- On the main menu, choose DISC CHANGE, then switch over to one of the following games:
- Doing so will allow you to use the undocumented features described below when playing a song in that game.
- Autoplay
- At any time during a song, press and then release the START button on the P1 or P2 controller to turn on Autoplay for that side. Press and release the START button again at any time to turn off Autoplay for that side.
- Autoplay is available for all game modes (GAME START, TRAINING, and FREE) and will remain enabled between songs in GAME START and FREE modes until the title screen.
- Quit Mid-Song
- At any time during a song, press both START and SELECT to quit the song and jump to the results screen.
- This command is available in GAME START and FREE modes.
- Be aware that using this command causes a bug where incorrect audio is played during sounds and music.
- However, the effects of this bug disappear when the player either returns to the title screen or plays a song.
