Song Production Information
This song is from the album denjin-k(on sale at Konamistyle and rated highly!). The album had already been produced by the time EMPRESS was announced and song was already planned out even before the announcement of EMPRESS.
Originally, the denjin-k version of the song was supposed to be a more uptempo version of THE EARTH LIGHT, so at the time, in consisted of dark-sounding music. I decided to add a brighter tone to the song, giving the sense of floating, along with some added tone to give the song more body, creating a new song, JEWELLERY STORM.
The song's vocalist, Eriko Tanzawa, had previously sung in IIDX and in denjin-k, and was requested to sing by Maiko Horisawa, even before I had finished producing the song. Usually, when singing to a recording of a song, you need at least two weeks for preparation, lyrics, and recording, but we only needed a week to finish the whole process.
I would like to thank all the affiliated people who helped me to finish denjin-k and helped it to receive high marks at KONAMISTYLE.
Video Production Information
Listening to the song and the theme for EMPRESS (women), it gave me an idea to make the movie "full throttle."
"Can you hear me? Can you hear all the nostalgic voices today?" gave me an idea of the memories of a lovely couple from the beginning with the lyrics.
It also gave me the idea of recording the events between the two with a large quantity of pictures.
