Song Connections / Remixes
- The ANOTHER version sounds different from the NORMAL and HYPER versions. The ANOTHER version is known as Schlagwerk (Terror-mix).
- A long version of Schlagwerk, titled schlagwerk, can be found on TaQ's first album, bounce connected.
Trivia
- Schlagwerk's vocal samples are taken from the 1995 Michael Bay movie "Bad Boys" starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The original clip from the movie can be heard here.
- Schlagwerk is the only song by TaQ from beatmania IIDX 3rd style that did not appear in the DanceDanceRevolution series.

A track that's brimming with rock spirit. Actually, TaQ has been a friend of mine since middle school; this track seems to have its roots in the rock sound we loved so much back then. When he saw the movie for this song, he said "I want to be in it too". Maybe he'll make an appearance next time?

Matching up a dramatic sequence inspired by the song's title that's "noisily" edited is one technique used in making music videos for big beat songs. We wanted to do an original video about SWAT team members going up against a terrorist group. Even TaQ was pleased with this selection. We created the terrorists' clothing and props from things you can find around the house, which gave them an appropriate feel; the SWAT members' things, however, were based on actual items and uniforms to the best of our abilities. (Even so, someone in the know about these things will probably find lots of little problems with them ... sorry.)
The day we did the shooting for this video was also a busy day for the entire staff. We had a meeting about expert courses that day, with one of us in the SWAT costume and everyone else in regular clothing. It's generally a funny story, but that meeting went on forever. I was left until dark quietly shooting film and performing all alone ... Still, I'm glad that people seem to like this video a lot.
This is also the debut of our production director KAGE in a IIDX movie! (He's the short-haired one in the black coat; he really looks scary.)
