KEY DISC
KEY DISC is a Konami's term for PlayStation and Dreamcast game discs that contain an independent game title but can also be used to boot APPEND DISC games, which cannot start up on their own. A KEY DISC game from a given series can only be used with APPEND DISC games from the same series.
