Release Information
- Location test dates:
- September 4th to 6th, 2020 (at GAME SILK HAT Kawasaki DICE)
- September 26th to 27th, 2020 (at ROUND ONE Umeda)

General Information / Changes
- Theme: Valkyries.
- A new cabinet, the Valkyrie model, has been introduced.
- The monitor has been upgraded to run at a 120Hz refresh rate.
- A touchscreen has been added underneath the main screen.
- You can now search for songs by title or artist name by entering it on the touch screen.
- The sound system has been upgraded to a 4.1 speaker configuration.
- The control panel has been "adjusted for e-sports".
- A new judgement, S-CRITICAL, has been introduced as a judgement stricter than CRITICAL. It is only available when playing with EXCEED START or MEGAMIX START.
- EX Score is now displayed when using S-CRITICAL judgements.
- Two new modes have been introduced:
- EXCEED START, which allows you to use the S-CRITICAL judgement, along with the ARS gauge and 3 songs guaranteed.
- MEGAMIX START, which allows you to use the MEGAMIX BATTLE feature. If no players can be found to match with, it will change to EXCEED START.
- MEGAMIX BATTLE is a two-player matching mode which uses the AUTOMATION PARADISE feature. Both players choose 5 songs each, and the total of 10 songs are mixed in real time during play. The player with the higher score for each song wins the MEGAMIX BATTLE.
- This mode was previously promised as the 1,000,000 MANIFEST goal for the いちかのBEMANI投票選抜戦2019 event.
- The UI for Song Select has received a major overhaul, returning to the vertical list style used in SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH.
- The Hi-SPEED value is now displayed to two decimal places.
