• Sho Maruyama was one of the winners of the second beatmania IIDX Musicianship Trial, along with vocalist flare, the vocalist of lights.
• Festa do sol (also known as Inti Raymi, "Festival of the Sun") was a religious ceremony of the Inca Empire in honor of the god Inti, one of the most venerated gods in Inca religion. It is still celebrated to this day in some cultures throughout the Andes and typically involves music, colorful costumes, and the sharing of food.
• Sho Maruyama's alias used in FESTA DO SOL, Mt.Circle, is a pun on his last name, Maruyama ("maru" means "circle", and "yama" means "mountain".)

The final selection was difficult to decide as the category with the most applications, but one person was selected, with the decisive factor being a new kind of song created which hasn't existed in the IIDX series.
During the production, Osamu Kubota was somehow introduced as the music producer, and it was completed with a professional sound while making the most of the original's goodness.

Good evening, I'm Mt.Circle.
During the previous public contest, I was still in the state of composing songs, so I couldn't apply, but this time, I applied after a long time.
Since I went through the trouble to apply, I thought about creating a genre that's never been done before, and with my tense face, I tried to make it with a Latin-style + techno essence. The upper half is Latin and the lower half is techno. Finally, the avant-garde elements were also added to make the song interesting.
Osamu Kubota, who was the producer, gave me a lot of advice, and I also thank all the staff for helping me, including dj TAKA. Thank you very much.

Good evening. I'm Mt.Circle.
This time, my song became a Latin + Techno genre mix called LATIN GROOVE.
When I listened to this song, as well as the new songs and REMIXes, I once again felt that there were no genre boundaries. To be precise, should I say that when various things are mixed, something new will be born?
In terms of drinks, it's a world where you can taste green tea and coffee simultaneously, which appears as green tea, but tastes like coffee.
You can't do such things in reality (although you can do the former...), but I think music is interesting because you can do "this kind of thing".
