Talk:Akhuta
Where exactly was it confirmed that Akhuta is Kijin? --M.B. (talk) 21:42, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- Have you seen Snakey Kung-Fu video? The three artists are all pretty visibly there and have the masks representing their animal aliases in question (lion obvious, the one with ossicones/horn is the giraffe, the one long mask is the tapir) --UBerserker (talk) 21:46, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
so... is Taira Akutagawa his real name? --totally not by MENDES (talk) 03:40, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
- I think it is a joke, but who knows. --FinalOffset (talk) 04:12, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
Akhuta on NOSTALGIA
I think there's an argument to be made that sometime in NOSTALGIA's first year, during or possibly before FORTE's operation, Akhuta was moved to work on the series as a co-sound director. This would explain his increased involvement in FORTE and Op.2, especially if considering the "ToWha = Akhuta" talk. I think there are other smaller things that seem to point toward this, but they're not concrete enough for me to call them legitimate.
I think what helps sell this though is the NOSTALGIA arrangement of 夏色DIARY, a song that has only been arranged and remixed each by the sound directors of their respective games (with the obvious exception of SOUND VOLTEX given that arranging/remixing is not something that Cody is actively engaged in). I'd argue that virkatoの主題によるperson09風超絶技巧変奏曲 is also worth mentioning given that this is the second instance of the same two in-house artists collaborating within a year and that this was used as The 8th KAC finals song for NOSTALGIA, but there have been two prior occurrences in which Ahkuta was involved in a KAC finals song for a series that he was not a sound director for. -Divinity
- I think this is plausible, but given how little info is Konami giving us about the BEMANI staff nowadays, we might never know. --FinalOffset (talk) 02:45, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
Nazzo-Non-Heat
A long time ago I made an edit saying it was speculated that Nazzo-Non-Heat was an alias of S-C-U mostly because he has been recognizable for whimisical melody lines at a breakneck pace. Since then, I've changed my mind and now think it is Akhuta. The more I think about it, the more blatantly obvious it seems. Here is the evidence I've personally collected:
- Nazzo-Non-Heat is credited for most of the BGM for jubeat Qubell. We already know Akhuta had a major role in Qubell's direction because of the G.F.S. and Fables of Akhuta events. Ahkuta was still credited as himself and not NNH for the BGM of the Fables event probably because, well, it was his event.
- A couple other songs that sound like they might be written by Akhuta use aliases with the word "謎" (nazo): プログレなぞなぞクイズのテーマ, and DREAM OF SPACE UFO ABDUCTION
- The 掘りすぎ dig RUSH Final BGM is somewhat reminiscent of 残日の聲.
- Wandering Gravity -> Floating Eternity. Coincidence?
Following this train of thought I suspected Akhuta may also have been involved in the creation of アガット rather than it being solo S-C-U, but this is a little less rigid of a theory.
Would anyone else like to share their opinion? --ArrowsAndBeats (talk) 00:03, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- I agree with him being Nazzo-Non-Heat. For Bazole I'm not sure, the snares sound much like S-C-U to me. --GlaringRadiokid (talk) 13:44, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
