- Yellow Sunrise is xac's first original contribution to the beatmania IIDX series. He had earlier won a contest back at the time of beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS, where his remix, Programmed Sun (xac Antarctic Ocean mix), was added into beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem.
- According to xac, he wrote a drum'n'bass song by request of L.E.D.. Prior to this Yellow Sunrise was going to be a darkstep song similar in vein to Dutch group Black Sun Empire. This would have made Yellow Sunrise the first darkstep song in the beatmania IIDX series.
