Release Information

• Location test dates:
  • February 11th to 12th, 2017 (JAEPO 2017)
  • May 7th, 2017 (Reitaisai 14)
• Public test dates:
  • Open alpha: May 12th to June 15th, 2017
  • Beta: from June 15th, 2017

General Information / Changes

• First ever CS SOUND VOLTEX release, based off of SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS.
• First CS port of an arcade release since beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS + PREMIUM BEST.
• A custom-made controller, named SOUND VOLTEX CONSOLE -NEMSYS- Ultimate Model, will be released in Autumn 2017.
• The game will be able to run in both portrait orientation, like the arcade version, and landscape orientation.
• The game uses the 1-20 difficulty scale and revised score grading introduced in SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN.
• Play data will be linked to SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN, allowing for scores to be shared between the arcade and CS releases.
• Similar to beatmania IIDX INFINITAS, the game will require the eAMUSEMENT CLOUD service to run.
• As opposed to the monthly payment system INFINITAS runs on, SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS e-AMUSEMENT CLOUD requires the purchase of VOLTEX CLOUD tickets (チケット) to play a round of gameplay. Tickets require PASELI to buy, and can be purchased in the following amounts:
  • 5 tickets: 108 yen
  • 25 tickets (plus 1 free): 540 yen
  • 50 tickets (plus 4 free): 1080 yen
  • 100 tickets (plus 12 free): 2160 yen
  • 200 tickets (plus 35 free): 4320 yen
• The following modes and their ticket costs are as follows:
  • LIGHT START - 5 tickets
  • STANDARD START - 6 tickets
  • BLASTER START - 10 tickets
