Eurobeat in 7thstyle is going well. For these types of songs in most cases, I first create a game-sized mix from the approximate five minute original mix, but to make it interesting for IIDX, I tried to include many delicious sounds within a short time period.
"HEARTBEAT" is no exception, as the composition such as the intro was complicated, and I had quite a hard time making it.
If you have the opportunity, I think it's interesting to listen and compare it to the original mix.

This song represents Eurobeat in the late 90's, which has continued to be loved for a long time since then, and moreover, it's a masterpiece with a charm which doesn't fade at all.
It's also a super hit song with a version sung with Japanese translated lyrics, so I think there are many people who are looking forward to playing this song since it was included in SEB.

Well, I discussed the compatibility of cars in the NEW SONG INTRODUCTION for the song included in the previous game, "NIGHT OF FIRE", but I think "HEARTBEAT" is highly compatible with it.
So, I included the continuing car battle between Mika Tsukuba and Yuri Aida.

When I previously played "NIGHT OF FIRE" with shiro, I was at a loss for words that time when he asked the question, "why are these two people constantly fighting?", but it's different this time.
They joined forces to face the challenge of an unexpected rival.

Well, for the movie's structure, I re-edited it to become a remix style by using story-based movie materials and finely connecting the sound to maintain the story's flow.

Two people competed and improved their skills in a limited world.
The other day, both of them were chosen as campaign girls (※Only established in the movie) for the beatmaniaIIDX 7th style INTERNET RANKING "NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP" (※We're waiting for your participation!), and they travel around arcades together in a promotional sports car after work (※Only established in the movie), so they have the chance to freely drive around (they applied for this purpose).

Initially, Mika bought an AT with the reason that it was easy to drive, while Yuri chose an AT to focus and practice its specialty in handbrakes, acceleration, and brake work, but as this sportscar was an MT, it took a step forward in the world of advanced sports driving, where it can be meticulously controlled.

There were rumors of a campaign girl duo that seemed to drive quite quickly in a sports car, so Akane Sugo, a female driver who drives the same car as them, boasted about her racing technique, despite being an amateur.
Akane, who saw the duo approach her, immediately challenged them to a competition.

That day, it was Mika's turn to drive, so Yuri sat in the passenger seat.

After being persistently pursued by Akane, Mika easily overtook her.
Even after that, she couldn't escape Akane, who drove in a straight line, while skillfully blocking her.

Yuri was calming analyzing her opponent next to them, while Mika was overwhelmed by her opponent's pace and just kept chasing her, under the situation that she starts to be a bit careless and give up.

So Yuri, who was familiar with Mika's driving characteristics of originally being rough and uneven, but suddenly responding to change and having the best matchup here, thought of a method to take a gamble and aggressively increase the pace to overtake Akane.

Heeding Yuri's advice, Mika pretended to perform a sudden braking drift when the opponent's car performed a big corner against her without completely leaving the inner side.

At the moment Akane's car steered towards the outer side, Mika drifted her car towards her, and subtly skimmed her opponent's car on the cornering line.

Akane, who instinctively loosened the accelerator and slowed down, was surprised by the two rumored racers, and could only see them drive away.
