Lyrics

Operator, operator,
Please hook me up
To my lover
at the end of the line

Operator, operator,
Please hook me up
To my lover
gotta know that he's mine

Operator, operator,
Please hook me up
To my lover
at the end of the line

Operator, operator,
Please hook me up
To my lover
gotta know that he's mine

When darkness falls
and I'm all alone

I need you to call me
on the telephone

When night time comes
and I don't have a choice

Once again I need
to hear your sweet little voice

I heard a song
on the radio

I'll call you up
to sing it for you

So if you turn
on the radio
You will feel the magic too

Operator, operator,
Please hook me up
To my lover
at the end of the line

Operator, operator,
Please hook me up
To my lover
gotta know that he's mine

Please hook me up to my lover

Please hook me up to my lover

Song Connections / Remixes

  • The full, unmixed version of OPERATOR appears in PAPAYA's debut album, Pink.
  • An 8-bit arrangement of OPERATOR appears in DanceDanceRevolution GB2.

Trivia

OPERATOR (Two Gees Mix)'s banner.
  • In DanceDanceRevolution 3rdMIX, OPERATOR was titled OPERATOR (Two Gees Mix), despite that the original version of OPERATOR is used in BEMANI. This was corrected on the DanceDanceRevolution 3rdMIX Original Soundtrack album and later in DanceDanceRevolution 3rdMIX PLUS.
    • This mistake was kept in DanceDanceRevolution GB2.
  • OPERATOR received a new Single MANIAC chart in DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX PLUS.
